WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO CELEBRATE BEING FAB OVER 40?

It’s been really rough for the past 10 years,

My partner decided to make me feel special. I found myself again when I celebrated being Fabulous beyond 40

WHAT DID YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE?

It was like a dream. As if I was shooting for the cover of a magazine. From make up, to posing, it was beautifully done. It was just a fabulous day!!

Michele is absolutely exceptional, passionate and a talented photographer. Working with her from my initial intake to the the time when the actual album was given in my hand was beyond what I expected. It was the best experience and I will cherish it forever.

HOW HAS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR BODY CHANGED OVER TIME?

I forgot myself for many years and overtime I have learnt to be kind and compassionate with myself.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED TO APPRECIATE MORE AS YOU

HAVE AGED?

Age is just a number, what matters is how you feel. I have learned to appreciate every little moment I spend with loved ones. Staying mindful. Appreciating friendships that have stayed with me for a long time no matter the ups and downs.

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU OFFER OTHER WOMEN?

No matter what life throws at you, learn from it and make your weakness into your strength. That’s one power you own and never have to be afraid of anyone taking it away from you.
